Superb introduction to Digital Pianos,
My wife was an advanced level pianist and music teacher in her younger days and when we got married I promised to get a piano for our new home together. Unfortunately, we have limited space and funds for an acoustic piano (especially a Grand). I have looked at digital pianos on-line before and been very sceptical about their performance compared to the “real” thing. However, we visited a music shop on one of our weekend trips and got to play and hear one firsthand. The quality of tone and overall feel was startling. The Casio PX-730 offers a simple-to-use interface and provides many features that will keep any aspiring musician or, indeed, more experienced pianist happy. It compares very favorably with the more popular Yamaha range at a lower price bracket. Although my wife was only interested in the piano features she has discovered that changing the tones to Classic Organ or Strings gives a pleasant change and boost to her enjoyment. Well worth a look at and a fantastic buy.
