This Selected Piano Exam Pieces album contains the printed music for nine pieces from ABRSM’s 2011 & 2012 Grade 3 Piano syllabus – three pieces from each of Lists A, B and C.

I received my book today and it does feel thinner and flimsier than the previous publications by the ABRSM. The front cover page is laid out much nicer than previously done; the scale requirements are easier to read and there’s a short paragraph detailing how long the syllabus is valid for, which was not in previous exam books either.
Other than that it has 9 out of the 18 pieces which could be used for the exam. I’ve heard some people complain about how thin it is but to be honest it the exam syllabus, its got the necessary pieces and listed requirements. There’s not much else that can be expected from it. The pieces are easy to read and as usual the ABRSM have edited the pieces to include fingering and markings where appropriate. It also provides a list of support material.
Overall this book is necessary for the exam for 2011-2012 (spring term 2013) grade 3 piano but it could also be used to improve sight-reading and the majority of pieces are very nice

|Excellent condition, excellent book,
It arrived on time and the book was in perfect condition when it did. I have used this book to help me for my grade 5 piano exam as it has been useful for practice sight reading tests. But just for some practice exam music before you start your grade 3 exam pieces this book is excellent.

This came when it said it would and like some books didn’t come with pages folded and the book wasn’t ruined. Cheaper than some places I would thoroughly recommend buying it here.
