A lovely book for a reasonably competent pianist,
I’m returning to the piano after many years of non-playing, and thought that the graded pieces would be just right to start me in again. It will be very very useful once I’ve got going, but at the moment, I’m finding even the ‘easy’ level (such as the Preludes which I used to play with ease) a bit beyond me, just in terms of dexterity and speed required. They say that the easy pieces are up to Grade 5, but I think they’re a bit harder than that. Having said that, it’s a great book, and quite inspiring. Love the spiral binding – all piano sheet music should be!

|Returning to play the piano,
This is a lovely book, well worth the money. Some of the pieces are very difficult for a pianist who hasn’t played in years but well worth practising which I am doing at present. I like the way it presents pieces for learners and then intermediate level and finally (after many months of practice) for experienced players. It is nicely produced and is a nice size to handle.

|Chopin in a mini format,
Although this sheet music contains 36 favourite Chopin pieces, the small format makes it very difficult to play – you need a page turner every few minutes.
The indications of level of difficulty is not very helpful. Playing Chopin is generally challenging and suited only for advanced pianists.
