Very impressed,
My wife had been after an upright piano, or a decent electronic version for ages. After lots of looking around we decided on this model as there was good feedback online about it. It arrives in a very large box as a flat pack item so it requires some assembley but it is very simple to put together, just be aware the keyboard part is quite heavy so you may need some help getting it on the rest of the stand. It has a nice tone, and the keys handle pretty much like standard piano keys – the harder you press the louder the note. You also get your standard piano pedals. You can control the overall sound output from it very simply using the volume control, there are two headphone sockets if you need them (they are the larger jack type than most headphones come with these days though so you will probably need an adapter if you use your headphones with an MP3 player). There is a pull over cover for the keyboard.
My wife who can best be desribed as a competent beginner pianist says that she cannot tell the difference between this and a real piano, her mother also can’t tell the difference, but her brother who is an excellent player has no problems playing it but it isn’t quite what he would expect. It doesn’t come with a stool but Yamaha do a stool in the same colour Yamaha B1-C2 piano stool, Cherry finish suitable for YDP digital pianos.
It’s a nice attractive package for beginner pianists and at least you don’t need to get it retuned every year
